Salve! I'm the Admin of this forum, Linguistics Group, and this is the official introductions thread. I just want to know basic things about you such as:
Name/What To Call You on Here: Country you currently reside in: What languages you want to learn: Why you joined: What you expect to get out of this:
And you know, the other basics such as age, birthday, etc.
Anyway, I go by a lot of names, but on here, you can call me Nox or Stellanti! I'm fourteen years old and I'm a leo born on August 20. I'm also a natural born US citizen and have lived here all my life-I've only been out of the country once and that was when I was a baby. I went to Mexico if you're curious. I'm currently studying Latin, however, I speak some broken Japanese that I soon plan on picking back up, and I would like to learn German; Russian; Italian; Mandarin; Korean; and many others as well. I created this forum because I felt that it would be nice to create a little language learning community as we could all use some help in our learning process, right? I hope that this all works out and you all enjoy your time!
Thank you very much for joining, taking the time to check our forum out, or just acknowledging our forum! It is very deeply appreciated and I hope you can get something out of this!

"Hallo alle zusammen!"
My name is Thanh Trà.
(pronunciation: "Teng Tchah"/the grave accent on the à means that you have to aim for a low, falling stress!)
It's Viet for "Clear or Blue Camellia" btw
But Thanh or Tan will do too.
I normally don't go by my real name on the internet, but I thought it would be a nice change once a while.
I'm seventeen years old and I currently live in Berlin. I'm born on April 6 and therefore Aries. I'm a hyphenated German with Vietnamese parents. My nationality is Vietnamese-German.
I plan to learn Russian first, then after that maybe Italian and Japanese. I don't know for sure yet, but maybe I'll add some languages later to my list. The reason why I joined is that I wanted to befriend new people and share my learn experience with them. Also I think the more people the better is motivation to learn something new.
Hmm, I don't expect anything from anybody, but it would be nice to (maybe become comrades friends...) learn more about our different cultures and personalities!
That's it I guess

Greetings, My name is Scarlet and I'm a Vietnamese descendant who was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. I'm both fluent in Vietnamese and German and my English is shitty af somehow passable. I'm currently 17 years old and trying to graduate highschool. Thanh-chan is my little twin sister (who I bully a lot). Meanwhile, I'm refreshing my limited and basic knowledge of French, Italian and Japanese. Due being a weeaboo watching and reading Japanese resource material with subtitles in original language, Japanese is the language I have the most experience with, out of these three languages. (My Japanese is probably better than my French which I learnt for about 4 years.) Other languages I would want to learn are: Russian, Korean (and maybe Spanish and Portuguese?).
As a mod, I want to help Nox to create a comfortable and light atmosphere for ideal studying! Feel free to call me Scarlet, Sensei, Maid or your personal overlord. I will give my best to help or assist you in any way possible.
PS: RIP to those who want to learn German.

Hello~
My name is Klara but you may call me kb/KB.
pronunciation: both as are spoken like the a in the british can't and the r is said like the common german hard sounding r. (Phew... I hope I explained that well)
I am currently 16 yo. I'm borne on the 31st July in 1999 in Germany, Berlin. There I still live today. I travelled all around Europe and was in Bulgaria, Russia, Czech Rep., Poland, England, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Sweden and some more. Because of my interest in other cultures and the history of different countries I began to study Russian. Sadly I didn't continue... Now I want to begin again and learn Russian but also refresh my French and learn Italian.
I would love to find new friends and exchange experences of all kinds (I hope that makes sense...)! I also would like to help ppl who learn German and improve my English.
Lasst uns eine gute Zeit miteinader haben! Let's have a good time together!
*Klara*
PS: Even if Scarlet is right: German is difficult! I encourage you to learn our beautiful language~ PPS: If I write too many commas its Germans fault.
